Maybe we’re crazy but
I can’t believe that we never did see
The road that we travelled

Could you not see the flicker
In my eye as you walked by?
We proabably always knew
Perhaps we didn’t really see,

But here we are, just you and me
With three little words that lie between
Will we still be as strong as we are now
Or will we grow apart and break down?

I made an error in judgment
Maybe I was uncertain
When you said it started with an ‘s’
I never thought to think of a name,

But the words are out in the open
Can I be forgiven for my misfortunes?
Or are they going to haunt me when I see you?
I only wish i knew,

I should have looked at the little details
I made you smile, guilty is charged
Maybe it was when you were playing guitar
But I’m glad I was with you,

Forgive me if I come off as insane
Since we feel the same things
And think the same thoughts
Isn’t that a major sign of some sort?

Something I know is special
That you will soon behold
Is a shitload of truth
That could rip apart my heart,

My head is spinning like crazy
So I think I’ll end this on a short note
I’ve always liked you more than I should
But I was always scared to tell you the truth.
