Poetry On A Monday

Broken and discouraged
The effects of depression.
Suicide rotates in the mind
Suddenly hallucinations are real life.

For any relief of being numb
A shiny new blade is present,
But cure for feelings of want
Love appears only dismantled.

Now, tell me, what's worse;
Being burned alive,
Or frozen to death?
Neither, we still rot below ground.

Despair and loneliness
Is pleasure to happiness.
Music is a solid escape,
But only 'till the alarm clock rings.

You're distant and alone,
Screaming on your knees
As you stumble in the mud,
But what are you looking for?

Dreams crumble beneath us,
Blood runs from consequence.
Mental breakdowns cause explosions,
An endless disaster of corruption.

Eyeliner stains the rosy cheeks
As infinite tears stream constant.
My eyes are nothing but mournful,
Does that explain how my day goes?
